Residential Terms of Service

Last updated: 16 September 2025

1. About us

This website, www.pluslifehealth.co.uk (the "Website"), is operated by Wellness Technology Australia Pty Ltd (ACN 661 558 229), trading as PlusLife Health ("PlusLife Health", "we", "us" or "our"). Our registered office is Suite 806, 35-45 Spring Street, Bondi Junction NSW 2022, Australia.

We design and supply premium handcrafted saunas, including indoor and outdoor traditional and infrared models, together with related accessories and maintenance products (the "Products").

These terms apply to purchases by consumers. If you are buying in the course of a business, our Commercial Terms of Service apply instead.

2. Definitions

Business Day means a day other than a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday in England and Wales.

Made to Order Product means a Product manufactured after you place your order, built to the size, timber, heater specification, finish and configuration you select. All of our saunas are Made to Order Products.

Order means your request to purchase Products from us.

Remote Diagnostics means the troubleshooting process we carry out based on information you provide, including photographs and video, before we arrange an engineer visit.

Schedules means Schedule 1 (Services), Schedule 2 (Delivery and Returns), Schedule 3 (Warranty) and Schedule 4 (Installation Requirements), each forming part of these terms.

Standard Stocked Product means an accessory, consumable or spare part that we hold in stock and supply without manufacture to order.

Warranty means the guarantee we give on our Products, set out on our Warranty Information page, which is in addition to your legal rights.

3. Acceptance of these terms

3.1 By using the Website or placing an Order you agree to these terms.

3.2 We may amend these terms. The version that applies to your Order is the version published when you placed it. Changes do not affect Orders already accepted.

4. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 to place an Order. We may cancel any Order placed by someone under 18 and will refund any payment made.

5. Your account

5.1 You may need an account to place an Order or manage a warranty claim. Please give accurate information and keep it up to date.

5.2 Keep your password confidential. Tell us using the details in clause 18 if you think someone else has accessed your account.

6. Website content

6.1 We work hard to keep Product information accurate and current. Specifications, features and availability can change.

6.2 Product images are illustrative. Colours, finishes and grain vary between units because timber is a natural material, and screen settings affect how colours appear.

6.3 Timber is a natural product. Variation in grain, colour and knots, and minor movement, splitting or checking as timber responds to moisture and temperature, are normal characteristics and not faults.

6.4 If you think anything on the Website is inaccurate, please tell us using the details in clause 18.

7. Services

What we do and do not provide is set out in Schedule 1.

8. Orders

8.1 Placing an Order

Before ordering, please check your selections, including size, timber, heater specification, finish, electrical requirements and delivery details. Your sauna will be built to the configuration you select, so please make sure it is right.

All of our saunas are Made to Order Products. We do not hold them in stock. Your sauna is manufactured for you after you order. This affects your cancellation rights, which are set out in Schedule 2.

8.2 Formation of contract

Your Order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed when we send you an Order confirmation by email. That confirmation will state whether your Order is a Made to Order Product.

We are not obliged to dispatch until we have received payment in full and you have given us the information we need to build and deliver your Order.

8.3 If we cannot accept your Order

We may decline an Order, for example where a Product has been discontinued, where there has been a pricing or description error, or where we cannot deliver to your address. If we decline, we will tell you and refund any payment in full.

8.4 Changing your Order

Tell us as soon as possible if you want to change your Order. We will do what we can, but changes may not be possible once your build has entered production. Where a change is possible and increases the price, we will tell you before we make it and you can decide whether to go ahead.

8.5 Pricing errors

If we spot a pricing error after you order, we will tell you before we process it. You can then confirm at the corrected price or cancel for a full refund.

9. Payment

9.1 How to pay

You can pay either:

  • 50% on ordering, with the balance due within 14 days; or
  • in full when you order.

We accept Visa, Mastercard, debit cards and bank transfer. We do not charge a fee for paying by card. Products are dispatched once payment has been received in full.

9.2 If the balance is not paid

If your balance is not paid by the due date we may hold your delivery. If it is still unpaid 14 days after we have written to you about it, we may cancel your Order and retain the costs we have actually incurred on your build up to that point. We will itemise those costs for you. Anything above them is refunded.

9.3 Prices

All prices on the Website are in pounds sterling and include VAT at the applicable UK rate. Prices are delivered and duty paid. You will not be asked for import duty, import VAT or customs charges on delivery. We act as importer of record.

9.4 Delivery charges

The delivery charge shown at checkout is the full delivery charge for your Order. We will not ask you for more after you have ordered.

Where your postcode or site access means we cannot quote at checkout, we will contact you with a fixed delivery price before we accept your Order. You owe nothing until you have agreed that price in writing.

9.5 Card security

Card payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your card details.

9.6 Late payment

We may charge interest on overdue amounts at 4% a year above the Bank of England base rate, accruing daily from the due date until payment.

9.7 Promotions

From time to time we run promotions that include complimentary or discounted items, such as free or reduced delivery, product upgrades or bonus accessories ("Promotional Inclusions").

Promotional Inclusions are conditional on your Order being paid in accordance with the payment terms shown at checkout or on your invoice. If your balance is not paid by the due date, we will write to you. If it remains unpaid 14 days after that letter, the Promotional Inclusions no longer apply and the standard charges for those items become payable before dispatch. We will tell you the revised total before we ask you to pay it, and you may cancel your Order free of charge at that point if you do not wish to proceed.

Promotional Inclusions have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for a discount, credit or refund. Promotions cannot be combined with any other offer unless we say so. We may vary or withdraw a promotion at any time, but doing so does not affect an Order we have already accepted.

10. Support and repairs

10.1 Remote Diagnostics

If something goes wrong, contact us first. Before we arrange an engineer visit we will ask you to help us diagnose the fault remotely. That normally means sending photographs or video showing the heater, the control panel, any error codes and the area of the cabin concerned, and answering some questions.

Most faults are resolved at this stage, and it is much faster for you than waiting for a visit. Please help us with this step so we can get you running again quickly.

10.2 How support works

Level 1. Email, phone or chat with our support team, covering setup, troubleshooting and maintenance. We aim to respond within 2 Business Days.

Level 2. If we cannot resolve it, we escalate to our technical team, who will work through Remote Diagnostics with you.

Level 3. If the fault cannot be resolved remotely, we will arrange a repair. Depending on the fault we will either send an engineer to you or send a replacement part with fitting instructions. Where the fault is one we are responsible for, we arrange and pay for this.

10.3 Engineer visits

If we arrange a visit, please make sure there is safe and unobstructed access to the sauna, that an adult over 18 is present during the appointment window, and that the cabin is in a position an engineer can work on. We may need to rearrange if access is unsafe or the site is not ready.

10.4 Repairs outside warranty

Where a repair is not something we are responsible for, we will give you a written estimate before any work starts and we will not proceed without your approval.

10.5 Third party repairs

Please do not engage a third party technician to work on your sauna without speaking to us first. Unauthorised repairs or modifications will invalidate our Warranty in respect of any damage they cause, and may make a fault harder for us to diagnose. This does not affect your legal rights.

11. Safety

11.1 Important

Please read and follow all safety instructions supplied with your sauna and set out below. Serious injury or property damage can result if they are not followed.

11.2 General safety

  • Speak to your doctor before using a sauna, particularly if you are pregnant, have a heart condition, high or low blood pressure, or any other health condition.
  • Nobody under 18 should use the sauna unsupervised. Never leave children unattended in or near the sauna.
  • Do not use the sauna if you have been drinking alcohol.
  • Do not place clothing, towels or any other item on or near the heater. This is a fire risk.
  • Do not touch the heater or the stones while the sauna is in use or cooling. They reach very high temperatures.
  • Keep the sauna door unobstructed and never lock it from the inside.
  • Check the cabin, heater and guard before each use and do not use it if anything is visibly damaged.
  • Do not remove or cover safety labels. Contact us for replacements if any are damaged.
  • Run a new sauna for 60 minutes with the room ventilated before first use.
  • Let the heater run for at least 40 minutes before pouring water on the stones. Use water only, in small amounts, from the ladle supplied.
  • Never leave the sauna running unattended.

11.3 Electrical safety

  • Sauna installation is notifiable electrical work in the UK. It must be carried out by an electrician registered with a competent person scheme such as NICEIC or NAPIT, working to BS 7671 (IET Wiring Regulations) and Part P of the Building Regulations 2010. Keep the certificate.
  • Check the supply matches your sauna's requirements before use. Per-Product electrical specifications are in Schedule 4 and on each Product page. Some heaters require a three phase supply, which most UK homes do not have. Please check before you order.
  • The heater must be on a dedicated circuit with RCD protection.
  • Outdoor installations require weatherproof, earthed connections.
  • Do not handle the control panel with wet hands.
  • Keep the ventilation inlet and outlet clear at all times.
  • Keep children and pets away from the sauna while it is running.

12. Your obligations and ours

12.1 Yours

  • Keep your proof of purchase, serial numbers and service correspondence.
  • Respond to service enquiries so we can help you promptly.
  • Tell us if your contact details change.
  • Carry out the maintenance set out on our Warranty Information page.

12.2 Ours

  • Keep service records so we can support you properly.
  • Tell you clearly what we are doing, how long it will take and what it covers.
  • Tell you if a Product is discontinued in a way that affects support, and propose alternatives.
  • Handle your data in line with our Privacy Policy.

13. Liability

13.1 Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, for defective products under the Consumer Protection Act 1987, or for any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law.

13.2 Subject to clause 13.1, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profit, loss of business, loss of opportunity or business interruption, and our total liability in connection with your Order is limited to the price you paid for the Products.

13.3 Subject to clause 13.1, we are not liable for loss arising from delivery or production delays, including time taken off work, third party booking fees or costs of alternative arrangements. Please do not book installers or contractors until your Order has been delivered and checked.

13.4 You are responsible for making sure that installation and use of your sauna complies with local requirements, including building control, electrical certification and planning permission where applicable. We recommend you check with your local authority or a qualified professional before installation.

13.5 Our saunas are not medical devices and must not be used to treat, prevent or cure any injury or health condition.

13.6 Where we recommend a third party installer or electrician, that recommendation is not an endorsement and the contract for that work is between you and them. If a fault is caused by installation work we did not carry out or arrange, that is not something we are responsible for. Where we did arrange the installation, we are responsible for it.

14. Intellectual property

14.1 All content on the Website belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by copyright, trade mark and other intellectual property laws.

14.2 You may use the Website for your own personal, non-commercial purposes. You must not copy, reproduce, republish, sell, scrape or exploit any part of it without our written permission.

15. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your personal data and forms part of these terms.

16. Complaints and disputes

16.1 If something has gone wrong, please contact us first using the details in clause 18. We will acknowledge your complaint within 5 Business Days and aim to resolve it within 30 days.

16.2 If we cannot resolve your complaint between us, we will tell you in writing whether we are willing to use an alternative dispute resolution scheme and, if so, which one.

16.3 Nothing in this clause prevents you from taking your claim to court.

17. General

17.1 Events outside our control. We are not liable for delay or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, pandemics, industrial action, supplier or carrier failure, utility outages, cyber attack or government restrictions. We will tell you as soon as we can and, if the delay is significant, you may cancel and receive a full refund of anything you have paid for undelivered Products.

17.2 Severability. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.

17.3 Waiver. If we do not enforce a right, that does not waive it.

17.4 Assignment. You may not transfer your rights under these terms without our written consent. We may transfer ours, and if we do, this will not reduce your rights.

17.5 Governing law. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your own courts, and the mandatory consumer protections of the law where you live continue to apply.

19. Schedules

Schedules 1 to 4 form part of these terms. Where a Schedule conflicts with the main body of these terms, the Schedule prevails for the subject it covers.

Schedule 1: Services

1. What we supply

1.1 Supply of indoor and outdoor saunas in a range of sizes, in barrel and cube builds, in traditional and infrared configurations.

1.2 Design consultation and configuration, including sizing, timber selection, heater specification and layout.

1.3 Custom sauna design.

1.4 Care and maintenance guidance, replacement parts, consumables and maintenance products.

1.5 Technical support, diagnostics and warranty servicing as set out in clause 10 and on our Warranty Information page.

2. What we do not supply

2.1 We do not carry out sauna assembly or installation ourselves unless we have quoted for it separately and in writing. Where we have not, you will need to arrange this.

2.2 We do not carry out electrical work. Connecting your sauna heater to your power supply must be done by a registered electrician, which is your responsibility to arrange unless we have quoted for it.

2.3 We may recommend assembly and electrical partners. A recommendation is not an endorsement and the contract for that work is between you and them.

Schedule 2: Delivery and Returns

1. Delivery

1.1 Where we deliver. We deliver to mainland Great Britain. We do not currently deliver to Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands, the Isle of Man or the Scottish islands. If your address is outside our standard delivery area, contact us before ordering.

1.2 Timeframes. Because your sauna is built to order, lead times depend on your configuration and are given on the Product page and confirmed on your Order confirmation. Typical lead times are 6 to 10 weeks from order to delivery. These are estimates. We will keep you updated and tell you as soon as we know of any change.

1.3 What delivery includes. Delivery is kerbside as standard. The driver will unload your crate to a point within reach of the vehicle at your delivery address. Moving the crate beyond that point, siting, assembly and electrical connection are not included unless you have bought them from us separately.

1.4 Access. Please check before you order that a large vehicle can reach your address and that the crate can be moved from the kerb to where the sauna is going. Our crates are large and heavy. Crate dimensions and weights are on each Product page.

If we cannot complete delivery because of access problems you did not tell us about, or because nobody was there to receive it at the agreed time, we may charge you our reasonable costs of return transport, redelivery and storage. We will tell you what those costs are before charging them.

1.5 Tracking. We will send tracking details when your Order is dispatched and the carrier will contact you to arrange a delivery window.

1.6 Risk. The Products are our risk until they come into your physical possession, or into the possession of someone you have named to receive them.

1.7 Checking your delivery. Please check your crate and its contents on arrival. If anything is damaged or missing, photograph it and tell us within 48 hours of delivery so we can deal with the carrier and get a replacement to you quickly. Telling us late does not affect your legal rights, but it does make it harder for us to put things right quickly.

1.8 Storage before installation. Our crates are not waterproof. If you are not installing straight away, please store the crate under cover. Damage caused by leaving a crate exposed to weather is not covered by our Warranty.

1.9 Changing your delivery address. Tell us as soon as possible. We will do what we can, but a change close to dispatch may not be possible and may incur a carrier charge, which we will tell you about first.

2. Cancellations and returns

2.1 Standard Stocked Products. Where you have bought an accessory, consumable or spare part that we hold in stock, you may cancel within 14 days of receiving it. The cancellation period ends 14 days after the day you, or a person you have named, take physical possession of the goods.

To cancel, tell us clearly before the period ends, by email to support@pluslifehealth.co.uk or by phone on +44 7378 470969. You do not need to give a reason. You can use the model cancellation form at the end of this Schedule but you do not have to.

Return the goods to us within 14 days of telling us you are cancelling. You pay the cost of return. We will refund you within 14 days of receiving the goods back, or of you giving us proof you have sent them, whichever is earlier.

You may handle the goods as you would in a shop. If you handle them beyond what is necessary to check their nature and how they work, we may reduce your refund to reflect the loss in value, and we will tell you the amount and why. Where goods are returned unused and in their original packaging, no deduction applies. Where they have been used or the packaging is missing, a handling charge of up to 20% of the price may apply.

2.2 Saunas are Made to Order Products. Our saunas are manufactured to order. Each sauna is built for you after you order, to the size, timber, heater specification, finish and configuration you select, and is not held in stock. These are goods made to your specification within the meaning of regulation 28(1)(b) of the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, and the 14 day cancellation right in paragraph 2.1 does not apply to them.

We tell you this before you order, on the Product page, and again on your Order confirmation. If you are not sure whether an item is made to order, ask us before you buy and we will confirm in writing.

2.3 Cancelling a sauna Order. Although we are not required to, we will do the following:

  • Within 7 days of your Order and before your build has entered production, we will refund you in full.
  • Between day 8 and day 14, we will refund you in full less the costs our manufacturer charges us for the cancellation, which we will evidence to you.
  • From day 15, or once your build has entered production, we cannot cancel your Order and the balance remains payable.

2.4 Faulty Products. If your Product is faulty, paragraph 2.5 applies and nothing in paragraphs 2.1 to 2.3 limits your rights. Contact us and we will put it right.

2.5 Your legal rights. These rights are in addition to any guarantee we give you, and nothing in these terms affects them.

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods we supply must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If they are not:

  • you can reject them within 30 days of delivery and get a full refund;
  • after that, you can ask us to repair or replace them, free of charge, within a reasonable time;
  • if a repair or replacement does not resolve the fault, you can claim a price reduction or reject the goods.

If we do not deliver within 30 days of the agreed date, or by a date we agreed was essential, you can cancel and receive a full refund.

2.6 Wrong Product delivered. If we send you something you did not order, tell us and we will collect it and deliver the correct Product at our cost.

2.7 How we refund. We refund to the payment method you used, and we do not charge a fee for processing a refund.

3. Model cancellation form

Complete and return this form only if you wish to withdraw from the contract.

I hereby give notice that I cancel my contract of sale of the following goods:

Schedule 3: Warranty

3.1 We give a guarantee on our saunas. The warranty periods, what is and is not covered, the maintenance required to keep cover in place, and how to make a claim are set out in full on our Warranty Information page, which forms part of these terms.

3.2 That guarantee is in addition to your legal rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, which are summarised in Schedule 2 paragraph 2.5. Nothing in the guarantee affects those rights.

3.3 The guarantee covers the original purchaser, runs from the date of delivery, and applies to Products delivered to and used in the United Kingdom. It is transferable with our written consent, which we will not unreasonably withhold.

3.4 Subject to clause 13.1, our liability under the guarantee is limited to repairing or replacing the Product or the affected component.

Schedule 4: Installation Requirements

1. Before your sauna arrives

  • Confirm a large delivery vehicle can reach your address.
  • Confirm the crate can be moved from the kerb to the installation point. Check gate widths, steps, slopes and overhead clearance.
  • Prepare a level, load bearing base. Weights and required base dimensions are on each Product page.
  • Arrange a registered electrician and confirm your supply is adequate for your heater specification.
  • Check whether planning permission or building control approval is needed for your installation. This is your responsibility.

2. Electrical requirements

2.1 Sauna installation is notifiable work under Part P of the Building Regulations 2010. It must be carried out by an electrician registered with a competent person scheme such as NICEIC or NAPIT, working to BS 7671.

2.2 Per-Product electrical specifications, including supply rating and cable requirements, are published on each Product page and in the manual supplied with your sauna. The heater requires a dedicated circuit with RCD protection.

2.3 Some heaters require a three phase supply. Most UK homes have a single phase supply. If you are considering a three phase heater, speak to us and to your electrician before ordering.

2.4 Outdoor installations require weatherproof, earthed connections.

3. Siting and ventilation

  • Leave the clearances specified in your manual around the cabin for ventilation and maintenance access.
  • Do not obstruct the ventilation inlet below the heater or the outlet on the opposite wall.
  • Maintain the clearance specified in your manual between the heater and benches, walls and the guard rail.
  • Outdoor cabins should sit on a base that allows water to drain away and air to circulate underneath.

4. After installation

  • Obtain and keep the electrical certificate from your installer.
  • Run the sauna for 60 minutes with the room ventilated before first use.
  • Register your sauna and send us a photograph of the installation.
